Hello,

 

I adopted Nicky the dauchsand more than a month ago.  He fits in so well here.  He still has the submissive urination, but we bought him a sexy wrap and it works, he only gets really excited when my husband lets him out, or I pick him up to put him in our bed.

We have changed his name to "Rerun".  My husband used to have one that look just like Nicky when he was a kid and they called him Rerun.  So when my husbands whole family comes over Rerun gets all the attention.  The only big problem we have is that he is into the garbage and likes to run to the road I think his nose gets the best of him.  Had to teach him not to chase chickens.  Other than that he's a lover and a BIG cuddlier.  My kids love him and he loves them back with kisses.

I want to thank all of you for the work that you do!! I know how hard it is.  Thank you for Rerun(Nicky) and taking care of him until we could bring him to his forever home.  Thank you for all the hard work you put into your Humane Society, when we came there it was all about what was best for the dog!!
